We had a great Halloween weekend in St. George. We surprised both our parents and took Kennedy trick-or-treating to their houses. They had no idea we were coming down. We left her on their doorsteps and had the video camera rolling and the camera ready! Once they finally answered the door and/or recognized who it was they were ecstatic!
All the cute cousins dressed up
Playing with cousins Allie and Bree on Saturday
Eating a delicious Sunday meal that Spencer made us
Kennedy laughing with Grandma Rose and Uncle Spencer. She was laughing a ton, it was pretty cute. One of these days we'll actually catch her laughing on video.
We had a great weekend together as a family and here are some pictures to prove it! On Saturday when we woke up and saw how nice it was outside we decided we wanted to go to the BYU Football Game. We go once a season and Saturday was the day! We bought some tickets a couple hours before it started and got a sweet deal! The weather was great and Kennedy was perfect all day!
I was so worried Kennedy would get cold, but as you can see from our squinting eyes the sun was shining bright and it was quite warm.
Analyzing the game with dad, Kennedy isn't so happy with the last call on the field though.
"They need to run it up the middle, stop passing so much"
"If they aren't going to listen to me, I'm going to take a nap."
I LOVE this picture of Zak and Kennedy and the beautiful fall colors in the background. This was walking back to the car during the 4th quarter to beat the crowds.
After the game we met up with my cousin Kilee and her husband Cody and went to Los Hermanos for dinner! The food was yummy and it was so much fun to talk and catch up on things, but sadly I forgot to take pictures. Thanks for calling Kilee!
That evening we went to a Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband concert. It was lots of fun and we really enjoyed their music!
To top the weekend off we got these adorable pictures of Kennedy in her cute Sunday Dress.
My Grandma Jensen invited Kennedy and I to go to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens with her a few weeks ago. The flowers were beautiful and we had a great time. Thanks Grandma!
As you can see I got a little carried away with the pictures, but I couldn't resist, everything was beautiful!
Of course I had to get plenty of pictures of the pretty roses, in honor of Kennedy Rose :)
A few weeks ago we went for a nice Sunday drive up Squaw Peak Canyon to look at the changing leaves and beautiful colors. We think we were a little bit early in the season, but we had a good time and the colors were still pretty. We even got a smile out of Kennedy!
Family Picture
A beautiful view overlooking Utah County.
Kennedy wasn't so sure she liked the view at first, because she was interrupted from her cat nap in the car. She was fine once we took her out of the car seat.
I know we already posted some pictures from her blessing day, but I've been messing around with collages on Picasa, so I thought I'd post the ones I created.
We blessed Kennedy last week. It was pretty awesome. I think it’s fairly normal to worry that at some point during the blessing your kid is going to grab the microphone and start screaming like James Brown, thus embarrassing you horribly in front of family, friends, and neighbors, all while the bishop frowns in your direction while shaking his head. Needless to say, we did our best to get her prepared for the big day. It turns out that our worries were unfounded and only slightly exaggerated. Kennedy did a great job chillin’ in the circle and she even flashed me some big ol’ smiles which I was grateful for.
We had most of our family over for some grub afterwards and that was a good time.
Once everyone was stuffed an unable to put up a fight, we forced them all to the stairs where I shot them… with my camera.

Piglet took some lovely pics too, she’s definitely got “the eye”
Kennedy hasn’t stopped yapping about how much fun she had with her cousins.
Thanks again for coming everyone, don’t let the stinky diapers keep you from returning soon!
I imagine that's what Kennedy was thinking after she spit up all over my face. Word to the wise...don't hold a baby over your face after she's just eaten :) It had been 20 minutes so I figured I was ok. Oh well, it gave us a good laugh that night!!
Zak decided to get it on video before he helped me and Kennedy get cleaned up. I know most of our family has already seen this video, but it's kind of funny so I thought I would still post it. Sorry it's a bit jumpy and kind of hard to hear.
I know I know, I'm a Horrible blogger lately!! I'm going to try and be better. Zak has been the valiant blogger up until now, but he says it's up to me since he's very busy this semester. He is just so good at it so I was perfectly happy to let him post. But I'll try to do my best and post more regularly.
Well, we haven't been up to much since we've been back in Utah. Just trying to get settled back into our house and getting things organized and ready for school to start again. We have been able to visit with some family and friends though, so I'll post a few pictures that I did remember to take.
A visit from Jana Banana and Grandma Rose
We went up to North Ogden to visit Gma and Gpa Vaughan
Not only did Kennedy get to meet her Great Grandparents, we were treated to a delicious garden meal and they also sent us home with lots of fresh garden produce-Thank You!
Kennedy got to play with Uncle Christian for a few days while he stayed with us.
We have been getting 'real' smiles from Kennedy since she was 4 weeks old and are loving them!
Just some random pictures:
We just had a wonderful weekend with our family and we blessed Kennedy in church yesterday so I'll post pictures of the fun soon.
