Moab

We have been trying to go down to Mexico to visit some of my mission areas for a few months now. We planned the trip in February, but I got too busy. We re-scheduled it for this past weekend, and things were looking good. Then we got word from an inside source (Kate's Dad) that airline ground workers in Mexico were on the verge of disrupting service because of a labor dispute. We found out about this an hour before we were to leave for the airport. We decided to play it safe and postpone again so we didn't get stuck down there :( One of these day's we'll get down there. Since we already had the time scheduled off, we headed down to Moab to check out Arches and Canyonlands. We also went to the Manti and Monticello Temples, that was cool. Here are some pics:

Manti Temple - This is officially my favorite temple. If you've never been, GO!
San Rafael Swell - I thought this looked pretty cool.
Landscape Arch - It's amazing that this arch is still intact.
Kate in Arches
Delicate Arch - This was Kate's first time going
Canyonlands overlooking the Green River
Canyonlands overlooking the Colorado River
Monticello Temple - We went on Saturday and it was packed! It's one of the smaller temples, but it's still beautiful.

RasCal FlatTS

Zak and I went to the Rascal Flatts concert this weekend and had a blast! I've always loved Rascal Flatts and Zak surprised me with tickets a few weeks ago, needless to say I've been pretty excited to go!!Their stage was amazing and pretty high tech!
It was constantly changing colors and had pictures
and videos going across it. Very cool!
These pictures definitely don't do it justice! Sadly, security took Zak's new camera away so we had to make do with our old camera, so they are a bit blurry. It was so awesome to be there and hear them live.
It was such a fun concert to go to because I actually knew their songs!
Thanks for the fun night Zak! I love you!

Baby Bump

There isn't much of a bump to speak of, but I am being pressured by my little sister to put something up. 22 weeks

Overdue Post- Random Happenings

Sorry we've been slacking with the blog lately. I thought we'd post a few pictures of some of the things we've been up to. We've had fun getting together with friends for dinner or playing games recently. We had some friends from our ward over for dinner and games last Saturday and then had dinner and FHE with friends in Alpine on Monday. A carne asada with friends on Saturday afternoon, and games with a few couples from my work Saturday night. Sadly I forgot to take pictures at a few of the events, but here's the ones we do have.

Zak and Scott playing Wii TennisI know this picture is a little blurry, but i thought it was pretty cute that Bria is trying to play tennis with a stuffed animal like the boys are. She gave us some good laughs- she's a cutie!
Bria and the Wiscombes
We got together with some of Zak's missionary companions and buddies on Saturday afternoon to have a carne asada! It's always fun times seeing friends and eating yummy food!
Cute Ellie- She knows how to cheese it!
