USAA has recruited heavily the last 2 years at BYU so we are getting quite a big group of BYU Alum out here to San Antonio. Given that, we decided to host a BYU Alumni BBQ and serve J-Dawgs (excellent polish dogs served just off BYU campus.) Not everyone could come, but we still had quite the crowd here (45 total) and had a great time with everyone and think it was a success!
Hard at work cookin J-Dawgs!
This is just some of the kids, there are quite a few close to Kennedy’s age.
We’ve enjoyed getting to know all the new families and have already done quite a few things with them. It’s nice to have others in the same situation as us: young couples living away from family. So our friends and our ward is our family out here.

You made J-Dawgs?? I have been craving those forever. Do you know the secret sauce? Because that is what makes a J-Dawg a J-Dawg. If you do, please share! I need a J-Dawg!!
How fun! and the only people I recognize is Allison Jensen. We used to be companions.
