We have been trying to go down to Mexico to visit some of my mission areas for a few months now. We planned the trip in February, but I got too busy. We re-scheduled it for this past weekend, and things were looking good. Then we got word from an inside source (Kate's Dad) that airline ground workers in Mexico were on the verge of disrupting service because of a labor dispute. We found out about this an hour before we were to leave for the airport. We decided to play it safe and postpone again so we didn't get stuck down there :( One of these day's we'll get down there. Since we already had the time scheduled off, we headed down to Moab to check out Arches and Canyonlands. We also went to the Manti and Monticello Temples, that was cool. Here are some pics:

This looked like such a fun trip! I have never been there. Yes the Disney on Ice show was at the Delta Center or Energy Solutions Arena.:) How is that little baby coming? Have you decided on a name yet?

ooooo bummer about Mexico... I didnt even know you were planning on going!! Jon and I are hoping to go this summer too... its hard to coordinate our 2 schedules though... Moab looks fun though! I have never been there, how wierd is that??
Cool pics you guys! Did you guys buy tickets that you can't use now or was it a buddy pass/standby deal? That wouldn't be cool if you bought them. Hope you guys are doing good. Kate, do you have someone giving you a baby shower before you leave? I must know so I can get to planning before it's too late!
Arches are awesome!! Kade and I did that one time and it was way fun!! And Manti temple is our temple. We are from that area so we always go to that one. It is so neat!! I love it!

Sounds like your trip to MOAB was fun, but I'm sure life has happened more since then...I need to stalk your blog but it hasn't changed!! we need an update on ya'll! :) j/k...but not really :)
